| Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel - February 05, 2001 - Partner Communications Company Ltd. (NASDAQ: PTNR) announces an agreement between Partner Future Communications 2000 Ltd. (PFC), Partner's fully owned subsidiary, and The Tourist Channel Ltd. (TTC) , for co-operation in the pr o motion of WAP-based tourist services.
The collaboration is related to the promotion of Travel-Touch, an interactive global wireless-internet service, enabling travelers (and also local users) to locate and call businesses providing services to world travelers, and interacting directly with these service providers from the cellular handsets.
The 'Touch and Talk' application is based on a user-friendly interface enabling the cellular user to locate any address worldwide, and by a touch of a button, to communicate with the specified location either by talking, sending e-mail or fax, without any additional intervention by a third party.
According to the agreement, PFC was issued shares representing an equity stake in The Tourist Channel Ltd.
Amnon Harari, CEO of PFC, said that the agreement allows TTC to benefit from PFC's access to the GSM world and is another step in providing a gateway for a growing number of Israeli start-up companies developing products and applications for 2G and 3G cellular networks.
