Market street is the main road of the Old City and runs from the north to the south. During the Crusader Period this road led from the Hospitallers Gate in the north, along the route of the market or through Via Regis, all the way to the port. Two important Jewish sites are located at the southern end of the market: Parchi House and the Ramhal Synagogue. The market is open all week long until 17:00.
During the festival period it is open to the public until much later. |
